Leave Management module is administered by the Human Resource Department (HRD) to maintain the employee’s leaves. It is the responsibility of HRD to see to it that the leave programs are efficiently managed and accurately tracked. Leave Management process includes defining the holiday types, assigning entitlements and calculating carryover leaves, employees applying for leaves, managers approving or rejecting the leave requests, importing the leave data into payroll for calculations, etc.
Leave Management Software is used to cut out the physical movements and paperwork. It also helps employees apply for leaves easily and automate the HR administrative tasks of recording leave and controlling these against leave policies defined in the HR.
